All you have to do is complete an ink drawing each day for the month of October, post it with the hashtag #harikoainktober
All ink materials are welcome, even a BIC pen. We want to see your creative minds working!!

Intuitive Painting Class
Date: October 10th at 6pm to 8pm $35 at Awakening NY
As summer fades into autumn, we pause to honor the sacred threshold between light and shadow, fullness and release. Through watercolor, we’ll channel the soft colors of late summer — golden warmth, deep greens, and the first hints of change — into meditative painting practices. This class invites you to create with intention, reflect on what the season has taught you, and open your spirit to the quiet transformations that lie ahead.
Oil Painting Class
Date: October 17th -2025 at 6 pm-8 pm $30
This is an oil painting class where you learn Kat M Hamilton’s techniques and fundamentals of oil paint. We will begin with the absolute basics and end the class with a finished painting.
Watercolor Course
Date: starting September 25th -2025 at 6 pm-8 pm $150
Discover the magic of watercolor painting! In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn the basics of color mixing, brush techniques, and layering to bring your creativity to life. Whether you’re brand-new to painting or looking to refresh your skills, this 6-week class will guide you step-by-step while encouraging your own unique style. Come as you are and leave with new skills, inspiration, and a beautiful piece of art to take home.
Saturdays at PJ Farmer's Market
Date: First Saturdays at 10 am-12 pm
Every first Saturday, Kat will be sharing the amazing, eco-friendly, and brilliant color of Natural Earth Acrylik Paints at the Port Jervis Farmer's Market. This free experience is the perfect time to try these beautiful paints if you were thinking of investing in them.
Saturday Brushstrokes
Date: October 4th & 25th
Need some advice on your artwork? Are you looking for a place to create outside of your studio? Or are you looking to meet some local artists to share your love for creating? Bring your art materials and snacks to Saturday Brushstrokes for a day of art-making!!!
Battle of the Arts
Date: October 26th-2025 at 1pm to 5pm
A fun and invigorating challenge!! Do you think you can make a masterpiece in 4 hours? Battle of the Arts is the best time to let your creativity run free. Come join other artists and art your hearts out!!
